"So the first step is to cut the burlap. To make it straight and easier to cut, pull out a strand of the burlap where you want to cut it and then it will be both. Factoring in the seam, I cut these 5″ x 12″. Folding in half I stitched the sides together, making sure that the stitch length is smaller so that it keeps more of the pieces together. To add the area for the drawstring ribbon, I folded the top over about 1″ and stitched around, leaving a little bit of room to add the ribbon".... Read more
